The theory for working on a language of architecture builds upon two key approaches, a neutral starting point as a working semantic definition, and an aggressive mining of the differences and contrasts between divisional and industry uses of the terms. Instead of forcing a top-down meaning fit, these differences themselves evolve into the content to be contrasted with the neutral starting point.
